Black and Blue è il 13° album in studio degli Stones (1976), il primo dopo l'abbandono dell'ex chitarrista Mick Taylor, poi sostituito da Ronnie Wood. Le sessioni di registrazione servirono notoriamente come audizioni, a cui contribuirono i grandi della chitarra Harvey Mandel, Wayne Perkins, Jeff Beck e Robert A. Johnson. Alla fine, libero dagli impegni con i Faces, fu Ronnie Wood a unirsi a Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts e Bill Wyman come un vero e proprio Rolling Stone, contribuendo alla realizzazione di 3 brani di Black And Blue.

 

Questo cofanetto include un nuovo mix di Steven Wilson dell'album, outtake inediti e una registrazione dal vivo del concerto degli Stones all'Earls Court nel 1976. Il Blu-Ray include anche una registrazione televisiva inedita dal vivo a Parigi con mix in Dolby Atmos.

 

Il packaging include un libro di 100 pagine con copertina rigida, con un nuovo saggio dell'esperto degli Stones, Paul Sexton, oltre ad una nuova intervista a Ronnie Wood.
